I am a board-certified physician with extensive experience in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine, having dedicated my practice to serving critical care patients in the USA since 1973.

I started Applied Biomedical in 2008 with a passion for bringing quality, accurate, and affordable diagnostic products with the brand name Confidence™, as we know better diagnostic is better cure.

Recently, Applied Biomedical successfully obtained approval from the FDA to market a Blood Glucose Monitor in the USA, which is a point-of-care device for home use. Furthermore, my company specializes in manufacturing low-cost lateral flow-based immunoassay test strips for a wide range of diseases, including COVID-19, HIV, Dengue, Zika, Cholesterol, and Lactic Acid.

Our mission is to provide affordable and accessible test strips to address the global demand for these crucial medical test devices, particularly for lower- and middle-class populations worldwide. On a personal note, I am married to a psychiatrist, and together we are proud parents of two accomplished children. My son is a skilled spine surgeon, while my daughter is a dedicated ophthalmologist, both of whom are actively practicing in Southern California. As a family, we are committed to contributing to the advancement of healthcare access and affordability for individuals from all walks of life across the globe.
